Creating change step by step

About Us

The Gulson Foundation is a non-profit organization founded and driven in 1994. In a quest to improve the socioeconomic conditions and standards of India’s underprivileged. The foundation now boasts a state-level presence, supporting primary healthcare as well as skill and economic development.
The school dropout rate in rural India was as high as 37% in 2020-2021, due to low incomes, a lack of knowledge, and a lack of drive for education. Shakespeare’s infamous “Why, therefore, the world’s mine oyster, Which I with sword will open,” served as an inspiration to Mrs. Advani, lending her the spirit to achieve her goal of providing the rural citizens of India an equal chance at success in improving their abilities. The Gulson Foundation now has two large initiatives, namely—Skills on Wheels and the Gulson Learning Centre.

Vision

To create more job opportunities by bringing urban expertise to the rural parts of India through our mobile classrooms. This will enable citizens within rural areas to contribute to the economy while increasing their standard of living.

Mission

Innovation: We aim to create innovative projects and consistently expand on them while reaching out to rural parts of India. Classroom on Wheels is one such example that has been branched out from Skills on Wheels.

Motivation: We hope to induce motivation through our innovative projects by empowering the youth and underprivileged with relevant skill sets and education to aid their success in obtaining more job opportunities.
